Carlton FC – Ikon Park

Impeller was delighted to be engaged for the design, curation and production of this permanent museum space for the iconic Carlton Football Club. Word has it that when architecture firm, Populous, presented our work for Real Madrid, the Carlton Project Management Team couldn’t believe we were an Australian company and gladly took us on. Working closely with the Client’s historian and communications team, we were pleased to deliver several compelling areas which honoured the Club’s rich history and some of AFL’s greatest AFL players. Our work comprised of historic artefact curation and display, tactile informative activations and the implementation of high-end digital touchscreens. Having the opportunity to design the display of the AFL’s equal-highest number of Premiership Cups won by any club was very exciting. See it at IKON Park in Melbourne.
